LightBox Lexington is available for rent Monday through Sunday from 8am – 6pm. A full day rental reservation is required for all event bookings with more than 20 guests.

Visit the booking page to submit your reservation request. Once your request and payment is submitted, we will approve your reservation via email within 24 hours. In the event that your request is not approved, your reservation fee will be refunded.
No, please show up promptly at your scheduled reservation time. Be sure to consider setup, tear down and clean up time when booking your reservation.
No extra time will be granted for setting up or taking down equipment or cleaning the space. Please consider setup, tear down and clean up time when booking your reservation. If you go over your allotted reservation time, a $100 late fee will be assessed. Please review our studio policies for details.
Studio rental fees are due at booking and are non-refundable. You can reschedule or cancel your reservation with no additional charge at any time 24 hours before your reservation is set to begin. Upon cancelation you will receive a credit for the amount of hours booked that can be applied to future rentals. Credit will expire 1 month from the date of the original reservation. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the reservation date and time will be charged the full studio rental fee. This fee is non-refundable. Please review our studio policies for details.
There is a 2 hour minimum on all bookings. You do not have to use up all 2 hours, but that is our minimum to make a reservation. Studio memberships (coming soon!) do not have minimums.
Everything! You will have complete access to the space as well as the furnishings, accessories and props designated on our Inventory page. The space also includes amenities such as free Wifi and Coffee. No lighting equipment is included.
There is plenty of free parking available in front of the studio. We also have a large garage door around the back for easy loading and unloading access to the studio (not to mention for gorgeous natural light)!
You will be emailed check-in instructions and a self-access code 24 hours before your scheduled reservation time. The rental entrance and keypad is located on the back door of the studio.

The studio space is private and you will have complete access to the studio during your rental. The studio itself is located inside a shared building. Please be respectful of the shared professional environment and restrooms during your reservation.
Yes, there are shared restrooms located down the hall from the studio. We also have a private dressing room with a full length mirror located inside the studio.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the studio. We have a small mini fridge for your convenience. Please be respectful of the studio and promptly clean any spills or messes.
We don’t call it LightBox Lexington for nothing! The two natural light shooting areas bring in beautiful natural light all day long. Our garage window has been specially treated with a translucent film that perfectly diffuses the light for a soft filter effect. Our lifestyle area also has a sheer curtain for added diffusion.

Yes, small events are welcome. Our space is 1200 square feet and can comfortably hold 30 people.
Our farmhouse table seats 8 and our lifestyle area accommodates 10 seats with the option to bring in additional seating. Any additional chairs and tables will need to be brought in by the renter.
All Events regardless of group size (all parties, showers, birthdays, etc) are $425 and can be booked here.
Your health and wellness is our top priority. The studio is professionally cleaned and sanitized at multiple times per week. We want to ensure your trust and put your mind at ease when renting the studio.
Upon the expiration of your appointment, the studio should be cleaned up (surfaces wiped and floors swept) and furniture returned to its proper place. All trash should be placed in trash cans provided. Cleaning supplies are provided by the studio. A cleaning fee of $100.00 will be assessed if the studio is not left in a neat and tidy condition.
Yes, but please be considerate of the other businesses in our building and keep your music volume down. We want our neighbors to like us!
No, trust us on this one! No fog or smoke of any kind. Unless you want the fire department to show up. We know from experience.
While we understand the desire to personalize the space, we regret to inform you that hanging items on the walls is currently not permitted. In the past, we allowed the use of command strips; however, due to recent incidents where the paint has been affected during removal, we have reconsidered this policy. As a result, we now strictly prohibit the use of command strips or any other adhesives on the walls. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining the integrity of the studio space.
